Raid

Cooperative endgame PvE in SWGOH where guild members damage a shared boss for guild rewards. Modern raids feature multiple difficulty tiers, mode-specific Omicrons, and bracket-based reward distribution.

Raids have been part of SWGOH since launch but evolved significantly over time. Classic raids include the Heroic Pit (Rancor), Heroic AAT (HAAT), and Heroic Sith Triumvirate Raid (HSTR). Modern raids — Speeder Bike, Naboo, Endor — use a new format with multiple difficulty tiers, group play targets, and Conquest-like mechanics including data disk effects.

Modern raid scoring is bracket-based: your guild ranks against similar guilds, and reward crates depend on percentile placement rather than raw damage. This means a 200M guild member contributing 50M damage helps the guild equally as a 1B player landing top-1% damage — the score per-member matters more than absolute totals.

Raid-specific Omicrons unlock new effects only during raid combat. Characters like Darth Traya, Jolee Bindo, and Bossk have Omicrons that turn them into top-tier raid contributors. Investing in raid-specific characters is debatable — they don't help you in GAC or TW, but they earn the guild crystal-rich reward tiers week after week.

Strategy for raid contribution: learn the encounter (specific moves to dodge, specific enemy phases to push), use a calculator to predict your damage output, and stagger your attacks across the raid window to maximize the buffs/debuffs available at different points. Top raid players often share squad rotations and exact mod stat requirements via community Discords.
