Dissident by choice, leader by nature, Bo-Katan Kryze has always put the Mandalorian people and heritage first. After the Clone Wars, Bo-Katan served as intermittent leader of the Mandalorians until the Night of a Thousand Tears, during which she surrendered control of the planet, and the Darksaber, to Moff Gideon – a choice that would haunt her for years to come. She later joined forces with Din Djarin and Grogu, fighting to reunite the Mandalorian clans. Though the Darksaber was destroyed in a final confrontation with Moff Gideon, the clans recognized Bo-Katan as Mand'alor with the reignition of the Great Forge.
